“Dr. Ley is a dedicated board-certified breast surgical oncologist who has been serving the Tucson community since 2006, offering individualized and compassionate care rooted in the latest medical research. With expertise in treating breast cancer and patients at high risk, she utilizes minimally invasive and oncoplastic surgical techniques to achieve the best possible outcomes. Dr. Ley’s academic journey began at Northwestern University, followed by medical school at St. Louis University School of Medicine, a general surgery residency at the University of Arizona, and a breast surgical oncology fellowship at the University of California, San Francisco. Her leadership roles include serving as medical director for breast programs at both the University of Arizona and Tucson Medical Center. Board-certified in General Surgery since 2007 and a member of the American Society of Breast Surgeons since 2004, Dr. Ley also brings a deeply personal understanding to her practice as a breast cancer survivor diagnosed through high-risk screening at age 44.
