Today, Alabama State Representative Jennifer Fidler – alongside 52 (!) cosponsors – introduced HB453, a bill which will ensure insurance coverage for all breast reconstruction options, including chest wall reconstruction and flat closure!
And we recently learned that last year, Arkansas passed Act 424, requiring insurance coverage for chest wall reconstruction to include aesthetic flat closure! The primary sponsors were Senator Josh Bryant and Rep. Kendra Moore, and it was signed into law in April by Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders!
